Our Model

We’re amplifying the power of HR to help achieve this vision, and to supercharge the many other ways that HR is driving positive social and environmental change.

Our partnerships empower vulnerable children around the world. Children in some of the world’s toughest places - living with war, famine, disease and poverty. We provide family homes, education, healthcare and support to overcome trauma.  

The children’s circumstances are not their fault, and by being loved, cared for and educated, they can go on to lead independent lives, breaking the cycle of poverty. 

Meet Some of The Children

Laos

In Laos and in 41 countries around the world, we help fund family homes, nursery care, primary schools and healthcare, in our partnership with SOS Children’s Villages. The children grow up with the love and care of a SOS Mother, in families of around ten children, whose relationships become brothers and sisters.

Ukraine

We helped establish Child Friendly Spaces for children fleeing Eastern Ukraine. Children receive psychosocial support such as help to evacuate to safer places and ‘fairy tale therapy', which uses stories to work through trauma.

Nigeria

The humanitarian crisis in north-east Nigeria has displaced millions. We help fund temporary learning spaces in Internally Displaced Persons Camps and an Accelerated Learning Programme for children to catch up, enabling them to re-enter mainstream schooling.

Somalia

Families displaced by conflict and drought are struggling to survive. c.60% children in Internally Displaced Persons camps are not in school and are at risk of child labour and recruitment by armed groups. We support learning for 2,656 children in the camps, including teacher training and strengthening the capacity of the Ministry of Education.

Mozambique

Northern Mozambique has endured devastating attacks by armed groups, forcing over 110,000 people to flee their homes. We help fund a multipurpose centre in Mecufi, where 600 children affected by the crisis are in a safe environment, benefit from case management, mental healthcare and psychosocial support.
